Artist Information
Born in 1993 and based in Paris, Nargue began his journey with tags featuring complex, hard-to-read structures, which he uses as a foundation and transforms into paintings and abstract drawings combining shapes and semi-figurative elements.

Typography is more than writing, it's a visual language that shapes identity, culture, and artistic expression. This exhibition explores the creative potential of letterforms, blending graffiti, handstyles, and São Paulo’s intense pixação.
While writing traditions vary globally, their roots are deeply connected. Typography reflects its environment, evolving through cultural shifts and urban landscapes. In modern cities, writing covers walls, once rebellious, now so common it becomes urban camouflage.
Today’s writing scene is fragmented: some preserve tradition, others follow trends, challenge norms, reject them entirely, or push creative boundaries. What captivates us most are artists who reinvent writing, transforming it into a unique, personal art form.
